WHO I AM

I’m Francisco Coelho, Ph.D in Marketing (2015) - University Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid, Spain; Master in Business Administration (2002) - University of Minho in Braga and Degree in Marketing Management from IPAM - Portuguese Institute of Marketing Management (1995), with a long business experience. I was an executive at a SME and managed business activities in several countries.

 

Since 1998 I have developed a diverse experience in the field of applied and scientific research, taking over the coordination of applied research projects for companies and institutions such as the Metro do Porto and IVDP (Douro and Port Wine Institute), as well as research projects in several industries including tourism, hotel and health sectors.

 

Besides, since1995 I have combined business activities with academic experience by lecturing at IPAM - Instituto Portugues de Administração de Marketing (Porto and Aveiro school), at EGP-Porto Business School; at Fepam in Brazil; ar the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra; at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, in Romania, among others, at undergraduate and post-graduate levels.

 

My academic research interests and experience are focused in the international marketing field, with particular emphasis on the topic country-of-origin Image, and include the participation and publishing in international forums.

 

I am very tech oriented, with above average competences in information technologies. I have also good strategic thinking ability along with an obsessive look at the future that has already happened.
